The 50 best restaurants in Canada
Maclean’s list of the 50 best restaurants in Canada is now available on newsstands. The list was compiled and the package overseen by Maclean’s food columnist and critic-at-large Jacob Richler, with the mouth-watering pictures of John Cullen.
Obviously, not everybody is happy with such list, and some excellent restaurants did not make it. I have been to just a few of those listed and found them all exceptional. And the winners are:
- Restaurant of the Year: Hawksworth (Vancouver)
- New Restaurant of the Year: The Grove (Toronto)
- Chef of the Year: Normand Laprise (Toqué, Montreal)
