Ingredients

2 tbsp olive oil 30 mL
5 cups kale, stems removed, washed and thoroughly dried 400 g
1 pinch salt [optional] 0.1 g
ground pepper to taste [optional]

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 220ºC/430ºF. Pour the oil on a large baking sheet.
  2. Rinse the kale under cold running water then dry the leaves very well. Remove the center ribs, then cut the kale into 5 cm slices. Lay on the prepared baking sheet and toss with the olive oil, salt and pepper.
  3. Roast in the oven for about 20 min, turning halfway through cooking, until crisp at the edges.
  4. Serve.
