A beef stew with peppers, onions, and potatoes in a tomato-paprika sauce.
Outside its native Hungary, where it is known as «gulyás» and is served as a hearty thick soup, goulash [pr. GOO-lahsh] is a stew made with beef or other meat and vegetables, flavoured with lots of very fresh sweet or spicy Hungarian paprika, giving it a pungent aroma.

Definitely would make again. Next time though, I will add the peppers later as they cooked down to practically nothing. I added sauteed mushrooms to the recipe as well and about 2 tbsp of corn starch for a thicker sauce.
Best goulash I've tasted!
Pretty good. I'm not a huge fan of stews, but this one is appetizing enough that I'll eat it. :)
